I went to John to get some new digitals as I wasn’t skeptical of taking my own photos and wanted someone who knew what agencies were looking for. It was very enjoyable experience and John was very vocal and talked me through the whole process and gave me some great advice about the industry and the best route going forward. I had such a wonderful experience shooting my Polaroids with John. The moment I arrived at the studio I felt comfortable and welcomed. I actually came about 30 minutes early so we had a bit of extra time to talk get to know each other and do a quick warm up. John is incredibly experienced and it shows. Before the actual Polaroids he did a small mock photoshoot just to help me relax which was so helpful. By the time we started the real shots it felt like we already had a good rhythm and the energy in the room was great. The Polaroid session itself was quick efficient and really focused. He got all the required shots and even some extras. I was so happy with the results that I ended up getting a few additional images for my own archive including some extra poses. His guidance with posing was super helpful precise but still letting my personality come through. He also really knows the industry and took time to talk me through things. Thank you so much John. I’m definitely looking forward to working together again soon!

Brilliant! John was super helpful and informative. Before we got into the shoot we had a quick free flow session with some shots to get me comfortable behind the camera which was helpful for the actual shoot. We then discussed angles for the shoot and after the shoot, we ended with industry advice as well as potential places to send off my digitals. All in all, it was a truly insightful and informative experience. I 100% would love to work with John again!
