Divine Goddess Beauty Shoot with Anna Bella Millinery
I’m a huge admirer of the majestically beautiful work of photographer Marc Lagrange. One image in particular that I absolutely adore is – Bonne The Face.
It’s a truly remarkable and sensual portrait. The subject is breathtakingly beautiful. Captivating, demanding our attention with her piercing gaze, enchanting, like a Goddess. There’s an almost surreal sensibility to the photograph. Alluring, dramatic and dark all at once.
When asked in an interview with Wonderland Magazine, What essence are you trying to capture in your photographs? Marc replied, “The ultimate sense of a woman. Sensuality. I want to get my models to reveal their inner selves in a cinematic setting of mystery and charm.”
Inspiring stuff! For my project, I wanted to channel this notion of sensuality. To create a beauty story featuring striking and beautiful head wear, fit for a Goddess. I knew just the designer I wanted to work with.
Anna Bella Millinery
Anna Bella Millinery is an award winning designer from Australia. We first collaborated together in London to shoot Anna’s incredible 2015 collection and I’d been wanting to work together on another project ever since.
Anna’s designs beautiful millinery for special occasions and race wear. You can often see her work winning awards, featured in press adorned by beautiful ladies at events such as the Dubai Cup, the Melbourne Cup and Royal Ascot.
Casting the Right Talent
For our model we needed a striking beauty, experienced and versatile.
Posing for beauty photography is challenging and requires skill. Acute awareness of self, controlled posing through subtle adjustments, patience, poise and grace are all essential.
Joanna from Milk Model Management was undoubtedly the right choice for the role.
